(Bali - Indonesia, June 23-27, 2025)
We are pleased to invite you to contribute to the 11th EATSA Conference (Euro-Asia Tourism Studies Association), which will take place in Bali-Indonesia, between June 23-27, 2025. The central theme of the conference is “Wellness and Sustainability Tourism in ‘Paradise’.”
Sustainable tourism is a dynamic approach that fosters authentic cultural exchange and local community empowerment. By engaging travelers in meaningful activities that highlight local traditions, arts, and crafts, sustainable tourism has the potential to revitalize communities, promote cultural heritage, and contribute to economic resilience. This year's theme will encourage us to think beyond conventional sustainability practices and to envision a tourism industry that thrives on creativity, inclusiveness, and mutual respect.
The conference program features a diverse array of speakers, shows, and panel discussions, each designed to inspire and challenge our thinking. Experts from various fields will share their insights on how creative approaches can enhance tourism experiences, address the challenges of overtourism, and promote responsible travel. We will hear success stories from communities that have harnessed the power of creativity to transform their local economies and cultural landscapes.
